Where It Goes

The Amenity Young Professionals Actually Use.

A tap needs an outlet, a water line and a few square feet, so it fits almost anywhere people already gather. Same product and same service in every one of these rooms.

MULTIFAMILY01

Clubhouses, Resident Lounges and Leasing Offices

The clubhouse is the first thing a prospect sees and the thing residents use all year. A tap gives them a reason to be down there.

  • Luxury Apartments
  • Resident Lounges
  • Leasing Tours
OFFICE AMENITY02

Class A Amenity Floors and Tenant Lounges

The amenity floor has to earn the commute, and a tap's one of the few things up there that gets used every day.

  • Amenity Floors
  • Tenant Lounges
  • Conference Centers
UNIVERSITIES03

Student Unions, Libraries and Rec Centers

Cold brew is the default order for this entire age group. On a campus it moves constantly and nobody has to staff it.

  • Student Unions
  • Rec Centers
  • Faculty Clubs
CLUBS04

Country Clubs, Athletic Clubs and Pool Decks

Members expect the small things to be good. A cold tap covers the stretch between the turn, the courts and the patio.

  • Country Clubs
  • Athletic Clubs
  • Pool And Patio
COWORKING05

Member Lounges and Shared Kitchens

Coffee is the amenity members actually judge you on. Nitro on tap is the version that gets mentioned on the tour.

  • Coworking
  • Flex Space
  • Member Lounges
SENIOR LIVING06

Community Rooms and Wellness Centers

Common areas work when there's a reason to walk over. A tap is a small one that runs on its own all day.

Why Now

The People You're Trying To Impress Drink It Cold.

Amenity spend gets judged by the people it's meant to attract, and right now that's young professionals. They're the heaviest specialty coffee drinkers in the country, and they drink it cold.

0%

of people who drank specialty coffee yesterday drank it cold.

0%

of adults 25 to 39 drank specialty coffee in the past week, the highest of any age group.

How It Works

We Bring It. We Keep It. Your People Pour.

Nothing to buy, nothing to learn, nothing to manage. The tap is ours to look after. The coffee is yours to pour.

  1. 01

    We Install It

An outlet, a water line and a few square feet. No kegs to swap, no plumbing project, nothing for your team to run.

  2. 02

    We Keep It Running

We restock it, clean it and service it on a schedule. If something is off, we fix it before anyone in your building notices.

  3. 03

    Your People Pour

A nitro cascade at 38°F, any time the building is open. Nobody signs anything. Nobody pays anything.

The Coffee

One Coffee. One Spec. Every Time.

Specialty-grade, roasted locally, and checked on every visit.

  • Specialty-Grade, Locally RoastedRoasted locally, steeped cold and held cold. The same blend on the tap every week, not whatever is cheapest that month.
  • Free To Everyone Who PoursSteeped cold for most of a day. No heat at any stage, which is why it reads smooth instead of sharp.
  • Black, Nothing AddedCoffee, water and nitrogen. No sweetener, no dairy, no flavors.
  • Poured At 38°FCold from the day it's made to the moment it's poured.
  • The Same Cup Every TimeIf it's off, it doesn't go on the tap. That's the whole standard.

Questions

Nitro Cold Brew On Tap, Answered.

The things building owners, property managers and workplace leads ask before a site walk.

What Is Berg Cold Brew?

A nitro cold brew tap for common areas. Berg installs it, stocks it and services it. The building pays one monthly fee and everyone pours for free.

What Types Of Places Is It For?

Apartment clubhouses, office amenity floors, student unions, country clubs, coworking lounges and senior living community rooms.

Who Pays For It?

The building. Nobody pouring a cup ever pays or swipes a card.

Does It Add Work For Our Staff?

None. Berg stocks, cleans and services it on a set schedule. Your team does nothing.

What Does A Berg Tap Need?

An outlet, a cold water line and a few square feet of counter. No kegs, no gas cylinders, no plumbing work.

What If It Gets Used More Than We Expected?

Good. We size the service to the room up front and adjust visits if it runs busier. If one tap can't keep up, we add a second.

What Is Included?

The coffee, the dispenser, the install, the cups, and all service and cleaning. Nothing to buy, nothing to manage.

What Kind Of Coffee Is It?

Specialty-grade, locally roasted, steeped cold for most of a day. Served black at 38°F. Coffee, water and nitrogen, nothing else.

Is A Coffee Amenity CAM-Recoverable?

Depends on your lease. Triple net, generally yes, since amenity costs are standard operating expenses. Full service gross with a base year, usually not for tenants already in place, because adding a new expense category resets the base year. We'll check your structure before promising anything.

Where Does Berg Operate?

Columbus and Central Ohio, including downtown, Easton, Polaris, Dublin and New Albany.

Do You Serve Hot Coffee?

No. Berg is cold only. It sits beside whatever hot coffee you already have.
